Not My Name

I received an email asking if my name is really Galidrell.

No, my name is not Galidrell. The name is from an old character from an online game similar to the early version of Everquest. I played quite a bit when it was free, I quit playing when they started charging, I didn't get enough amusement from it to make it worth paying $19.95 a month, the game closed shortly after they started charging.

Why do I use Galidrell instead of my real name. Using it gives me a high level of anonymity that allows me to put truthful info here about my life with out invading any ones privacy. In my postings of events in my life I use initials when referring to some one to protect there privacy and using Galadrill is also an extension of their privacy. I do not post info about my friends and family unless it has a direct effect on my life.

As I have stated before this is an online journal, so to speak, and you have been invited along for the ride. I do hope you are enjoying it as much as I am. As always I look forward to your feed back.
