The other day I took the pellet stove out to the garage to use out there, with the intention of installing a door in its place that will give direct access to the backyard...

Project Update..... Range Hood
After getting the new black fridge when I bought the house, then later I replaced the stove with a new black one and then painted the front panel on the dishwasher leaving the range hood standing out like a sore thumb....
So I took the hood down with the intention of painting it to match the other appliances, but once getting it down it was so greasy on the inside that I decided to buy a new one instead, that was until I found out the the least expensive one I could find was well over $100. Need less to say I decided to give a go at cleaning it, Easy Off "Bam" cleaner didn't do a thing nor did Goof Off. Dish soap and hot water did OK but was still taking way to much elbow grease (no pun intended) to get any results, so I went on a search of the house for something that would work better. Brillo Pads did the job so well that it almost looked brand new, after spraying it with epoxy appliance paint it looks great.....

Dear Anonymous
Kennadi is the second ACD that I have fostered through PAN. Including her we have 4 dogs and 1 cat in the house. PAN will not allow me to foster any other dogs with that many animals in the house. My first foster was Belle, she was with me for over a year before we were able to find her a permanent home that was perfect for her as well as the woman that adopted her. Belle was very hard to place because as a pup she lost a front leg in an accident. It was not easy letting her go but by doing so I was able to take in Kennadi. Because of her fearfulness at the shelter had I not taken her she would have been put down because when most people go to adopt a dog they just don't seem to be able to look past the current situation and look at the potential a dog like Kennadi has. I took one look at her and knew all she really needed was some good loving and firm guidance.
When we do find someone that is interested in her they will have to come here for a "meet and greet", she will visit there home for another "meet and greet" as well as a home inspection and evaluation before letting them adopt her. We take placing our dogs very seriously, should I believe that the prospective home would not be physically, mentally and emotionally healthy for her I have the power to reject the application with full support from PAN.

It's A Girl.....
She has been given the name Kennadi, she is a 10 month old ACD( Australian Cattle Dog ). I will be fostering her through PAN ( Pet Adoption Network) until we can find a permanent home for her. When I picked her up at the Humane Society on Jan 23rd she was curled up in the corner of her kennel and shaking. With in a day or so it would have been hard for anyone to tell she was the same dog, she is now playful, energetic and very loving. In the 10 days that she has been with me she has showed absolutely no signs of aggression.
