House Hunting (Update) 8/5/9

Well the seller is dragging their feet(more like ass), should have gotten the sales agreement confirmation days ago. Turns out that the property has back HOA, water and sewer bills that need to be paid so that the they can be turned on so the inspection can be done, so now the inspection has been postponed from today to next Monday.

If for some reason I am responsible for a delay in closing I have to pay the seller $50 a day. If it is the sellers fault that the closing is delayed they don't owe anybody anything. That is pure BS if you ask me.

Welcome to the world of Real Estate! I am an Agent in Washington and I understand that it can get pretty frustrating because it feels like you, the buyer, is doing all the work and the seller is sitting on his ass doing nothing. Just keep smiling... It will all work out in the end
